it has been ranted about uncountable times by many people far funnier than myself, but i went to starbucks today. having worked in multiple family-owned/run coffeeshops myself, i typically never enter such a corporate bullshit facility, but my buddy wanted to go get some post-voting free coffee. the highlight of the trip was the morbid i-hate-you-so-much-and-i’m-better-than-you expression when i replied to the classic starbucks question, “what size would you like?”
“medium”, i replied.
death stare. grinning back, in your face.
